Message From The Director:
Dear Parents and Students,
The intent of this handbook is to provide parents and guardians with information about the practices, procedures, principles, and policies of professional conduct at AIS. The content of the handbook is the basis for what we do and how we do everything in the school. It serves as a guiding document for making decisions and the expectation is that parents and guardians will read this document carefully and fervently. We also urge them to share information here with their children, in order for them to be abreast with issues concerning them.
The handbook encapsulates the culture of the School and we urge parents and guardians to use the contents of the family handbook, as a reference document on professional conduct and their dealings with the school. Understanding this document makes one a better and more effective advocate as a team player for school improvement and student success.
AIS is a large school, therefore not everything in each part of the handbook will apply equally to the different sections of the School; consequently, specific content will be directed to a targeted audience. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to note them down and raise them with management.
Our goals are clearly articulated in several documents, including particularly, the School Improvement and Strategic plans; various aspects of which form the framework for operations. We also value the useful guides of our accreditation agencies and scrupulously follow them to achieve our set objectives. From the school’s experience, collaboration and cooperation have been achieved through the use of the acronym TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.
Any suggestions or changes that would enrich this handbook for future editions are most welcome. Please write and send them to the Assistant Director who will present them to the Senior Management Team.
